KK 2020 is cancelled due to covid-19

Kink Kamp is sad to announce that this year’s retreat will be cancelled due to the current COVID-19 crisis. It is our opinion that even should the restrictions with social distancing be lifted before the retreat date that most people will simply not be able to afford the camp this year. This decision to cancel the camp was not come to lightly as this would have been our 16th year running concurrently.

The board is suggesting a virtual get together if possible as the aims and goals of the retreat, to create a brotherhood of leather men in western Canada, still holds. We would be open to other suggestions and please feel free to contact any of the board members with your ideas.

This adversity is temporary, and we fully expect to resume the camp in 2021 when the current health crisis has eased.

Kink Kamp is a living memorial to an honorable Leatherman from Edmonton who was taken from us far too soon. His opinion was that our male leather community NEEDS a place to reconnect and to bond. Male bonding is a rare thing and this venue provides the perfect opportunity for men of all sexual orientations to bond in the brotherhood of our shared leather experience.

Kink Kamp is a place for men run by men. It allows us to explore the male leather experience. All men have knowledge to share and are encouraged to do so thru the weekend. By sharing our knowledge and renewing the brotherhood of leather we become a stronger community resource. Informal interactive sessions occur throughout the weekend.

Special guests are occasionally brought for their particular knowledge and are available in a small intimate environment to teach and share their experiences and their outlooks.
